**What is an OctaRide? An OctaRide allows you to reserve a spot in your favorite class for 8 consecutive weeks. As this saves us considerable administration, we offer an OctaRide at a discounted rate; however, you are not permitted to cancel or reschedule an OctaRide class. Should you select an OctaRide and a class falls on a Statutory Holiday, your class will be rescheduled. | ||||||||

Starting Saturday March 6th and finishing with competition in the the Ottawa Riverkeeper Olympic distance triathlon on Saturday June 12th, this program is our latest and most extensive training program for Novice triathletes. Training will be centered around Saturday morning sessions at 10am where participants will be taken through a great Bike/Run training progression. Then the fun begins, as participants will be provided with workouts to be completed at home in between Saturday sessions. What is included: - A detailed training plan requiring from 6 to 11 hours per week training time. - Once a Week training sessions with Ian Fraser where you can discuss your training progression and equipment needs while working out. - Race entry into the Ottawa RiverKeeper Olympic distance triathlon on June 12th. Session #3 of Cyclelogik's newest specialty program begins on Tuesday, March 9th and consists of a testing session followed by an 8 week progression focusing on increasing maximum aerobic powere. Each session, of 1.5 hours, has been designed by our resident coaches Ian Fraser and Alistair Scott to maximize your training. Duration - 9 week training block. We will gladly install a set of cages / flat pedals for you to use.
Can I start partway through the cycle?
Yes, of course. While the training cycle is designed to offer the maximum benefit based on participant input, it is not time specific. The reason behind the cycle is to avoid the dangers of a physiological plateau, which typically occurs when the same exercises are repeated ad nauseam.
What if I don’t have the right cleats?
Participants will have the option to purchase one (1) set of Look Delta style cleats upon pass purchase for a discounted rate, which we will gladly install free of charge.
What if I show up and there is no bike available?
Please ensure that you are attending the correct class, and that your name shows on the participant roster. If it does, and it is still at least five (5) minutes before class start, simply locate your instructor, and they will sort the matter out for you. Should your name not be on the list, please send an email to: rideinside@cyclelogik.com as soon as possible so that we can resolve the matter to everyone’s satisfaction. If it is within five (5) minutes of class start, then your bike has been given away according to our sign-in policy.
