The famed and sometimes feared Cyclelogik Saturday morning ride runs from April 1st through to October 31st.
The first group of riders leaves at exactly 8am and the second leaves at 8:15am from our store location at 1111A Wellington St. Click here for map. Parking is available in our lot located off Carruthers, just north Wellington.
For those new to the shop ride, it is approximately 80km long and takes approximately 2.5hrs to complete. Terrain is mostly flat dotted with a few small rises. The pace of the ride is controlled for the month of April. Beginning in May there will be two departure times. The first, leaving at 8am, will be a fast group where the speed is not controlled. Speeds in this group will pick up at different points and the group will break up either because of the hills or due to cross winds. However, if the weather is nice, there can be quite a large group making it relatively easy to sit in the middle and chat. The second group, departing at 8:15am, will be controlled at a tempo pace (25-30km/h). |
| Safety is a primary concern for any of our rides. Riders must obey all traffic regulations. Riders will stop at all red lights and stop signs. The group must stay to the right as much as possible to allow car traffic to pass safely. Crossing the yellow line is strictly forbidden. Helmets must always be worn. It is also recommended to bring a spare tube and the tools necessary to fix a pucture as the rides are not supported.
